Jimmy had drunk two bottles of beer today, and although he had slept for two hours in the afternoon, he was still somewhat worried that he might be influenced by the alcohol. After getting on the road, he rolled down the windows to let the cold air hit his face, giving himself a bit of a jolt.
Now on an assist mission instead of a patrol, Jimmy had already ignored the traffic flow. He stopped on the roadside, opened the map to check the intersections he was responsible for, planned a route, restarted the police car, and began patrolling back and forth along the planned roads, not letting any pickup escape his notice as he followed behind checking license plates.
