Jimmy took Peter's keys and returned to the car, took off the Bullet-Proof Vest he was wearing, and changed back into his own gun holster and suit. The preparations he made earlier were completely unnecessary, a wasted effort.
Peter and Jones also came over, "Jimmy, let's go. There's nothing for us today, let's head back and rest."
Fortunately, the matter was fully resolved. Peter did not arrange for them to work overtime but instead let Jones and Jimmy go home to rest. As for himself, he needed to return to Federal Square to coordinate with Diana on processing the interrogation records from the previous illegal artifact trade.
After a busy day, Jimmy and Jones just grabbed a few tacos from a food truck on the road for a quick fix and then went home to rest. When you're that busy during the day, it's actually hard to fall asleep; your mind can't seem to stop. It's best to have a light drink, since Jimmy didn't need to drive during the day, and it wouldn't involve drunk driving.
