"Pfft, dream on. I've got so much to do; how do I have time to be your chef here? I'm leaving now," Su Xuan said as he was about to go to another room to call Jiang Xing.
Lai Feilong, of course, knew that it was an impossible luxury to have Su Xuan as a chef, as hard as reaching the sky, which he had deeply realized. But even though hope was slim, he was always willing to swallow his pride for the sake of food.
Su Xuan found Jiang Xing in another room, and together they walked out of the Lai family's front door.
"Damn, that's freaking awesome, Old Lai's house has so many interesting things," Jiang Xing couldn't help but exclaim from what he had just seen.
"Of course, the old man's two biggest hobbies are eating and collecting quirky stuff. It's not surprising to find these things here," Su Xuan said indifferently, as if he knew Lai Feilong through and through.
