Afternoon.
Fu Hanyan came to the studio.
Chi Yue handed her the DNA test results.
After reading them, Fu Hanyan was silent for a long time, "Thank you."
Chi Yue nodded slightly without saying much.
Every day in this line of work, the same things happen over and over; some people's lives fall apart because of DNA test results, some find long-lost relatives, and others push happiness away from themselves.
She had seen so much that she became indifferent.
Just as Fu Hanyan got to the door, she turned back, "Miss Chi, could you join me for a drink downstairs?"
Chi Yue had finished her work for the afternoon, so she agreed.
They each ordered a coffee. Fu Hanyan stirred her cup, head down, lost in thought.
Chi Yue occasionally took a sip, waiting for her to speak.
"Miss Chi, can you not tell anyone about me coming to see you?"
Chi Yue: "We keep our clients' information confidential."
Fu Hanyan: "That's good."
