Chi Yue had just stepped through the front door when she heard noise coming from inside.
As she approached the foyer, waves of pungent alcohol fumes hit her, causing Chi Yue to frown.
"Oh, whose fresh face is this? Quite the beauty we have here."
Suddenly, a drunk man appeared in front of her, raising his hand to touch Chi Yue.
Chi Yue, expressionless, dodged and walked straight ahead.
Chi Qingqing, upon seeing Chi Yue, staggered toward her with a bottle in hand, "Chi Yue, you finally came back. Let me introduce you to a few friends."
Chi Yue didn't even glance at her and walked upstairs, but after just a few steps, Chi Qingqing grabbed her.
"Don't you see I have so many friends here? Think about it, they used to be your close friends too."
Chi Yue's gaze fell on Chi Qingqing's hand grabbing her, "Let go."
It wasn't clear whether Chi Qingqing was truly drunk or pretending as she pulled Chi Yue toward the crowd.
