Chi Yue had not yet decided how to handle Chi Qingqing when Chi Jianshan and Yang Shulan came looking for her.
Neither of them carried their usual air of confidence, but they did not come with the demeanor of someone seeking help either.
"Yueyue, I heard you want to sue your sister? It was an accident, how could you sue her?"
Chi Yue looked at Chi Jianshan, "It's not that I want to sue her. She broke the law. It's the law that must deal with her, not me."
Chi Jianshan's anger was barely contained, "If you don't sue her, will the police arrest her?"
"Do you think the surveillance cameras on the street are for my amusement? Is there anything else? If not, please leave immediately."
Just as Chi Jianshan seemed unable to restrain his anger any longer, Yang Shulan pulled him back.
Yang Shulan spoke in a gentle and amiable tone, "Yueyue, I know you've suffered these past two years. Qingqing knocking you over was her fault, and she will change. Could you give her a chance?"
