The next day, after class, Mu Anran made a trip to Anxin Hospital.
Though she could only stand outside the ICU, being able to see her brother through the thick glass filled her heart with contentment.
After standing outside for half an hour, she touched the solid glass with her fingertips, "Brother, I'll have a lot of homework coming up, so I'll visit you again in a few days."
As she said this, she turned around to leave.
"Yo, isn't this the little White Rabbit that bites?"
A man's voice came from behind her.
Mu Anran turned her head and saw Dr. Shen Muchen approaching, dressed in a white lab coat with a record book in his hand.
"Dr. Shen..." She greeted him with a faint smile.
Shen Muchen could tell she seemed a bit downcast, so he tapped her forehead with the end of his pen, "Do you want to come in and see him with me?"
Mu Anran's eyes suddenly lit up, "Can I?"
"Go next door and change into the proper clothes, I'll make an exception and take you in this time."
