She didn't look at the two of them but turned toward the teacher from the office of security and said, "If this is the attitude the school is taking, I think I have nothing more to say. Let's just call the police then. Letting the air out of tires, leaving threatening messages—this must count as school bullying, right? I suppose the police will know how to handle this."
Since the school couldn't handle it properly, it was time to find someone who could.
The color drained slightly from the faces of the two girls, but thinking of something, they quickly recovered and said, "Go ahead if you want, we don't believe the police will do anything to us!"
"Exactly, we're not afraid of you!" It was just a prank after all, and since they were not yet fourteen years old, at most the police would just give them a verbal warning. They weren't scared at all.
They might not have been afraid, but the security office teacher's face suddenly became stiff.
