The man had no idea he was being targeted. Before he even reached the pool, another figure leapt from the residential building behind him. A pale hand clamped over his mouth, and a karate chop knocked him out cold.
His body was kicked into the pool by his assailant, landing next to Su Mo. A mocking voice sounded above her head, "Flat Pot?"
She looked up, and the man with dark red almond eyes squatted at the edge of the pool, smiling as he reached out a hand to her. Even in the darkness, the pallor of his palm was startlingly white, making her heart falter.
"Li Chuan?" Su Mo didn't seem inclined to take his hand. She pulled herself up from the pool, using the side as a fulcrum, and with the help of her Light as a Feather Skill, she leaped out of the pool to confront him.
"How did you get out?"
Li Chuan withdrew his hand and shrugged, those almond eyes conveying innocence: "Climbed out."
