Li Ya pouted her lips and said resentfully.
"Stingy, it's just a hug. You're not afraid I'll eat you up, are you?"
Zhang Xiaoshan responded directly.
"This is for your own good. It wouldn't be nice if someone came to the infirmary and saw us. So, what exactly did you come here for?"
Li Ya gave Zhang Xiaoshan a glance and then said with a bit of worry.
"I know you fought with Li Erniu yesterday. I was worried you might have gotten hurt, so I came to check on you."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Xiaoshan became tense.
It seemed that the little girl really took his words seriously when he said he would be with her once she went to college. She had developed real feelings.
The mother and daughter really were alike.
