Chapter 11 Is This a Computer?

If there were a spell in the world that could make a man's embarrassment slowly shrink, I think Nangong Bing would definitely have cursed Lin Zifeng ten thousand times!

"Boss, you look really beautiful today, so sexy." Lin Zifeng grinned as he admired her slender, graceful figure.

Originally angry, Nangong Bing's pretty face blushed slightly. Finally, someone is talking sense. I was born beautiful, so do I really need you to tell me? Give yourself a pat on the back for that. Annoying!

Women always like to be complimented, and Nangong Bing was no exception; her proud head lifted slightly. Although she knew Lin Zifeng was complimenting her, her heart still felt sweet. It was at least better than his annoying manner.

"If you could wear your skirt a bit lower, I guarantee it would be absolutely attractive."

Although she intended to somewhat ease their tension, once Lin Zifeng made that comment, any bit of goodwill was instantly gone.

"Should I just take it all off for you then?" Nangong Bing squinted her eyes, looking at Lin Zifeng.

"If you're willing, I wouldn't mind at all."

"Pervert!"

Nangong Bing cursed angrily and turned to leave the room in a glorious whirl.

About half an hour passed, and it was almost time for work.

Nangong Bing hurried out of her room.

"Why haven't you left yet?" Nangong Bing was surprised. Could it be that this guy was really planning to stick around?

"Didn't we agree last night? I said I'd come to work at your company today." Lin Zifeng's rustic manner really made Nangong Bing not want to get involved with such a bumpkin.

"You're sure you want to go to work? I told you, you can only be a security guard, and after arriving at the company, we will have no relationship whatsoever. If you dare misspeak, I'll have you fired immediately."

Nangong Bing slung a ladies' lv bag over her shoulder, her silky black hair cascading over the other shoulder, adorned with silver gemstone bead earrings, dressed in white as pristine as snow.

A professional women's ol attire, holding sunglasses, epitomized high-end, grandeur, and class.

"Since there's no choice, I'll just have to settle for the security guard then. But if you really pity me, boss, I wouldn't mind slipping into a ministerial position," Lin Zifeng said with an innocent smile, a hint of maliciousness unintentionally appearing at the corner of his mouth.

"Hmph! Looking at your figure, you're probably destined for hard labor," Nangong Bing gave him a cold look.

"Are you suggesting I'm fit? Don't believe it? Feel for yourself! Come on, touch it." Saying this, Lin Zifeng opened his shirt a bit and edged closer to Nangong Bing.

"Don't touch me! Disgusting." Nangong Bing was incredibly repulsed by him, fearing that he might touch her.

Her eyebrows furrowed slightly as she pondered how thick-skinned he was.

"Come find me this morning, but don't be late, otherwise don't even think about staying."

"Hey! Hey! Queen! Could you give me a ride?" Lin Zifeng rubbed his hands together and said with a full-faced smile.

"Impossible!" Nangong Bing coldly responded.

"Ah! If I'm late to work and can't find a reason, then I really can't keep my mouth shut! I need to cook up an excuse for being late. Ah! My president wife won't even give me a ride."

Lin Zifeng rolled his eyes and deliberately raised his voice as if afraid others wouldn't hear, using this as a threat.

Nangong Bing's face looked extremely unpleasant. How could this guy be so shameless? He could easily be second to none in shamelessness!

"Just go." Nangong Bing almost growled, her heart filled with countless unwillingness, yet unable to vent it anywhere. It felt as if a million alpacas were stampeding in her heart.

"Alright!"

Lin Zifeng hurried out in haste.

Once they reached Nangong Bing's private garage, Lin Zifeng finally understood what luxury meant—what being a real tycoon entailed!

In the underground garage were at least ten luxury sports cars of various models, even including a classic, discontinued red Ferrari!

"My goodness! Boss, does your family own a repair shop? You have so many cars."

"Country bumpkin is a country bumpkin," Nangong Bing really didn't want to answer his rather childish question.

He directly opened the door of a red BMW convertible and got in.

Lin Zifeng wasn't slow either, quickly squeezing his buttocks in after him.

"Wow! Boss, your car is so cool! Is this what they call an in-car touch control computer?"

Lin Zifeng pointed at the operating system inside the convertible, sporting an expression typical of someone who's seen very little.

"Can you stop being so dramatic?" Nangong Bing was already starting to get irritated.

Too lazy to talk to this country bumpkin.

Seeing Nangong Bing's expression growing colder.

Leaning back in the soft leather seat, Lin Zifeng's lips curled up slightly. After a while, he fell silent.

After all, the real him wasn't the type to chat excessively; it seemed he could only put on a facade in the face of today's world.

The whole person became extremely indifferent and composed. His deep gaze continuously fixed on the scenery slowly receding outside the window.

Five years, a whole five years! It was his first time coming back, breathing fresh air, sitting on a real car seat, feeling truly alive. It was wonderful; no wonder so many in prison dare to risk it all for a chance to go outside and glimpse the scenery.

While driving seriously, Nangong Bing saw him settle down and couldn't help but steal a glance at him.

Huh! Why did this guy's gaze seem so deep and full of vicissitudes? It seemed filled with many stories.

Could it be he had some past experiences he'd rather not revisit? Or had something dramatic happened to him? From his whole aura and expression, he didn't seem like a common thug; could it be this guy had always been disguising himself?

Nangong Bing had studied a bit of psychology before and had some ability to read people, essential in the business world where the marketplace was like a battlefield. If one weren't a bit more capable than average, they'd likely have been devoured by now. However, Lin Zifeng's background was something that Nangong Bing couldn't quite grasp.

Where did he come from? What had he done before? Why did my father send him to find me? These were all questions.

Anyway, Nangong Bing wasn't too keen on understanding this annoying man; she wished he would disappear from her sight immediately. So she felt too lazy to ask any more, and lacked the interest as well.

...

When the car was less than a hundred meters from the corporation, Nangong Bing suddenly stopped the car.

"Get out!"

Her voice suddenly turned cold and carried the commanding tone of a powerful woman.

"What? Why get out?"

Lin Zifeng felt it odd, they were almost at the company headquarters, why get out of the car now? It would only mean unnecessarily walking a longer distance.

"You're a security guard, I'm the CEO. Our levels are different, you can't ride in my car into the compound."

"Isn't that a bit much, I mean, I'm your man after all," Lin Zifeng narrowed his eyes, speaking in an extremely suggestive manner.

Nangong Bing glared at him, how could those words sound so awkward? It made it seem like she had done something to him.

"I don't care who you are to me, I'm ordering you to get out of the car right now."

Her attitude and tone at that moment were clearly different from her usual tone at home.

That extremely characteristic superiority, an air about her that screamed 'I am the Queen,' leaving no room for refusal.

Lin Zifeng shook his head helplessly and got out of the car, not daring to provoke this woman with a strong queenly presence anymore, fearing that truly angering her would make things difficult.

"Phew~!"

The convertible sped away at breakneck speed and disappeared from Lin Zifeng's sight in an instant.

He reached into his pocket for a cigarette, realizing that he really wasn't accustomed to his first day at work. He had been used to a free and easy life before, and suddenly having to work now made him feel uneasy. Every time he thought of himself in a uniform, Lin Zifeng felt as though past memories flitted before his eyes...
