The staff on Sapphire Island had clearly grown accustomed to such situations; they appeared at the harbor to direct what was happening as soon as the Gemstone Hurricane emerged.
The civilians on the island were similarly accustomed, obediently following the arrangements made by the staff.
It was the survivors, however, who seemed like headless flies in a panic after Zhao Fuli, one of their leaders, suddenly disappeared.
After all, this place belonged to someone else.
If the people of Sapphire Island chose not to care about them, it would have been completely understandable.
Fortunately, after some negotiation by Shu Yin and a few others, the survivors were taken in by the Bounty Guild for temporary shelter.
Inside the Bounty Guild, a group of Hunters was also gathered, drinking heavily.
Initially, the survivors had some complaints about being placed in the Bounty Guild, so close to the storm.
However, upon seeing the Bounty Hunters, they immediately felt much more at ease.
