The Hunter, whose mind was somewhat muddled from hunting for so long, instantly jolted awake.
A massive figure rushed towards him like a wall.
The Hunter had no doubt that if he were hit by it, he would truly be flattened.
He bent his knees and pushed off hard, his body springing up as if fitted with springs, his broad cloak rustling in the air.
In his hand, the saw meat knife was raised high, ready to deliver a heavy blow to the outsider below as soon as he landed.
Though he was an outsider himself.
But clearly, he miscalculated.
He wasn't facing those ferociously strong yet less agile beastified residents but a four-sided warrior possessing both strength and agility.
And this warrior didn't just have two hands.
A dark shadow shattered the sound of the wind, knocking the leaping Hunter away.
A minor cracking of bones was masked by the crisp snap, followed by the heavy sound of something crashing to the ground.
"Cough!"
