"Right, our lousy building has such poor sound insulation, and it's always like it's haunted with noises. Just like during the New Year, I heard thumping from upstairs every day and thought the people above were renovating their place, but actually, the whole family above was away for the holiday and not even home. The noise was coming from the next door's next door, where they were chopping bones to prepare the New Year's Eve dinner."
"Doesn't that mean my family's commotion last night might have been heard by the whole building?"
"Sure, it was really loud, with hitting and smashing, and the children's screams and cries. It scared everyone on the floors above and below, who all went searching for the source of the noise, only to find out it came from your place."
