"Hello stewardess, could you get me a cup of hot water?" an elder asked the flight attendant passing by him, but she showed no expression as if she hadn't heard.
Thinking she hadn't heard him, the old man raised his voice, "Could you get me a cup of water?"
The flight attendant still didn't hear him and continued walking forward.
At that moment, a foreigner spoke in English, "Please get me a blanket, thank you."
The attendant immediately beamed with a smile and replied in English, "You're welcome, I'll get it right away."
The old man grew angry and shouted, "What's the meaning of this? I called out first and you totally ignored me!"
The thirty-something female purser happened to walk by, smiling, "Old gentleman, I'm really sorry but this is an international flight heading to M Country and the flight attendants provide service in English throughout the journey. If you need something, please communicate in English, thank you."
