As soon as these words were spoken, an eerie silence fell upon the great hall, and many involuntarily turned their gaze toward the State Preceptor, only to quickly look away.
The reactions of Lin Junsheng and Prince Xian had already provided these seasoned officials with the answer; what puzzled them, however, was why Yuan Ming would so recklessly pierce this veil of decency.
