The sun was setting, the horizon painted a crimson hue as if brushed with golden powder.
Li Changzhou watched for a moment, his fingers lowering to part the curtained gap before he walked over to the bed.
"Miss Yang," he said softly.

Li Changzhou had a brief illusion of them having slept together last night and waking up together this morning, though it was now dusk.

Once she got out of bed, they walked towards the outside of the room.
