Twenty minutes later, at the main entrance of Modu City Center Hospital, a car slowly approached from a distance and entered the hospital's underground parking.

Xue Man's mother was in a private ward on the fifth floor of Modu Central Hospital. The private ward was one of the better wards in the hospital and could be considered a VIP room, with one-on-one care and dedicated nurses available around the clock.
Taking the elevator, the two directly arrived at the fifth floor ward.
After pushing open the door of the ward and walking in, the sight of her mother on the bed brought a look of deep, undissolvable sorrow to Xue Man's face, void of any trace of a smile.
