Jiang Siyan, not ready to give up, took her bag and found slices of small bread. Jiang Jiu, with reddened cheeks, snatched it back, "Give that back to me."
Jiang Siyan coughed lightly, "I'll drive you."
Upon arriving at the company, Jiang Jiu retained her efficient demeanor, but as soon as she reached the entrance, she saw Chu Meng looking at her with a complicated expression, "Teacher Jiang, how come you're getting out of Brother Siyan's car?"
She had forgotten about that.
Initially, she wanted to have Jiang Siyan stop the car at the previous intersection so she could walk the rest of the way, but today she felt lazy and hadn't expected to actually be seen.
Jiang Jiu, unflustered, said, "He gave me a ride since it was on his way. Are you just getting to work, or are you heading out to chase a story?"
The pressure of rank made Chu Meng uneasy, "I'm going upstairs first."
Having said that, Chu Meng stopped talking, and Jiang Jiu was glad for the peace.
