"Miss me?"
On the other end of the phone, Jiang Siyan's voice was as lazily infuriating as ever.
Jiang Jiu murmured in pain, and Jiang Siyan quickly sensed something was amiss. "Jiang Jiu, what's wrong?"
On the other end, Jiang Jiu didn't answer, prompting Jiang Siyan to immediately rise to his feet.
"Jiang Jiu?"
By the time the pain had subsided, Jiang Jiu was covered in cold sweat. Clutching her phone she said, "Jiang Siyan, can you have a delivery runner bring me some Ibuprofen?"
"Okay."
Twenty minutes later, the door burst open directly, and when the light in the room came on, Jiang Jiu closed her eyes in discomfort.
Jiang Siyan was disheveled and cold to the touch as he reached out with dry hands to feel Jiang Jiu's forehead. There was no fever, but a cold sweat covered her body.
The water on the nightstand had gone completely cold, so Jiang Siyan got her a cup of hot water and gave her an Ibuprofen to take.
