"What's wrong?" Qin Hao asked Xia Mengchan, sensing that something was off with her.
It was then that Xia Mengchan snapped back to reality, giving Qin Hao a glance, her expression bizarre.
"She recognizes me, we just met a few days ago, didn't we, Mr. Xia." Qin Ming said with a slight smile.
Xia Mengchan looked at the man before her, realizing that he was indeed the same person she had met a few days earlier.
Qin Ming's face wore a gentle smile. His stature wasn't particularly tall, standing at about five feet nine inches, nor was he muscular—in fact, he was somewhat lean. His eyes were exceptionally bright and deep, resembling the star-studded universe.
"Uncle and Meng Chan know each other?" Lin Luyao asked, surprised and incredulous.
"Yes, I just saw Uncle Qin a few days ago. Don't call me Mr. Xia, just Meng Chan is fine," Xia Mengchan quickly recovered, eager to clarify.
