Chapter 17
Ivar
In my dream, I saw Ragnar standing in the dark forest alone and he looked hurt. My brows drew together in confusion and when I took a step forward, he took one back.
"Uncle Ragnar?" I asked stepping forward and he took two steps backward.
"I wish not to harm thee, Ivar. It is best that thou keep thy distance from me."
I opened my mouth to speak when all of a sudden, I woke up from the dream and it was morning.
After that dream, every night I would go to bed and have that same dream of Ragnar. It happened throughout the whole week.
And my Mama's hatred for Ragnar grew worse. She thinks I should stay away from him and that he's evil. But I don't think Uncle Ragnar has ever be evil to me. He has always been kind. Whenever he visits our village every winters, he would come with gifts for me. How is that being evil?
