MC POV
I blinked and after my brain processed what had happned, I realised I was in an office of someone. The first thing I noticed was the intense smell of tea. I took a look around and my gaze landed on a small mouse-bear...thing? He? It? was bigger than a large plush toy and was sitting on the chair behind the desk. He had an intelligent, if slightly unnerving, look in his eyes. It took me a moment but I finally remembered who it was and where I was.
'Nezu' I said to myself in my head.
I was at UA it appears meaning I was in"My Hero Academia".
Huh. So the world-hopping card was not a scam.
Trying to act confused, I asked Nezu, "Uh, hi. Do you happen to know where we are?"
Nezu's eyes narrowed, curiosity flashing in them, but his voice was calm, "Oh hello there. You young man are at UA High School, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. And you are?"
I blinking a few times before scratching my head. "UA? Where's that? Uh, I'm Shiro... Do you know how did I get here?"
Nezu tilted his head, clearly not buying the innocent act, but he played along. "Interesting. You seem disoriented. Would you like some tea? We can talk after you have collected yourself" He gestured to a teapot on the desk, already prepared.
"Um ok?" I shrugged, leaning back in the chair that was definitely too big for a 'fifteen-year-old' like me.
Nezu picked up his phone while pouring the tea. I figured he was probably calling someone. No surprise there. After all, a random kid appearing out of nowhere was bound to set off some alarms.
And sure enough, after about half an hour, in walked Aizawa, Present Mic, and Detective Naomasa. It was like watching the anime come to life except now I was part of it. I fought the urge to grin. This was going to be so much fun.
Nezu was the first to speak. "I'll introduce myself and the others here I am Nezu the Principle of UA, The man with Black hair is Eraser Head, The Blond Man is Present Mic and The Brown haired Man is Detective Naomasa, who would like to ask you a few questions"
I nodded, keeping my expression neutral. "Go ahead."
"What's your full name, age, and can you tell us about your parents?" Naomasa asked, his lie-detecting quirk clearly in play here.
"My name's Shiro," I replied, my voice steady. "I'm fifteen, and I don't know anything about my parents. Never met them."
Others glanced at Naomasa, waiting for a reaction. Seeing nothing from his quirk, he seemed to relax a little, though I could tell they were still suspicious. He continued, "Where are you from, Shiro, and how did you get here?"
And now, time for the fun part. The story.
"Alright," I started, keeping my tone composed. "I am from a place called the White Room by the Professor."
Nezu's eyes looked intrigue, but he stayed silent, listening.
Meanwhile Naomasa asked me "What exactly is the White Room? Please explain it in detail if you can"
"The White Room is a government funded facility, its goal is to create Perfect Humans without any flaws." I explained, leaning forward, voice low as if sharing a dark secret. "Children are kept there from birth and as soon as they can walk and talk properly, the training begins. There are many instructors for teaching everything from Academics to Hand to Hand Combat. There have been 16 generations so far and I am part of the 4th Generation. If the facility is not satisfied with the results of someone or if someone starts to fall behind his peers they are disposed. No one is allowed to make a contact with anyone and in my generation there are only 2 people left now including mysel, the others have been already disposed of."
Meanwhile, when i was explaning stuff Nezu steepled his paws together, clearly intrigued, while Aizawa's eyes narrowed. Becuase from my word it would appear some criminal doing but the fact it was government funded shocked them a bit. Naomasa, for his part, looked like he was taking mental notes.
"And how did you arrive here?"
"Today," I started, leaning back in my chair, "I found this weird card in my room. I Picked it up, and poof I'm here."
Present Mic, who had been silent this whole time, finally spoke up. "Wait, you're telling me you just picked up some card, and it teleported you here? Dude, what even…?"
"Yeah, pretty much," I said with a shrug, nonchalant. "It was just there when I went to my room."
Naomasa leaned forward. "You said only two children from your generation survived. Who was the other?"
"Ayanokoji Kiyotaka," I said, watching their reactions. Aizawa's eyes narrowed, while Nezu's expression had became serious after I said the dispose part. "He's the son of Professor Ayanokoji who runs the place."
"Professor Ayanokoji?" Aizawa muttered, shooting a glance at Nezu. "If that's true, this is big."
Nezu nodded slowly. "We'll need to look into this further."
Then Naomasa asked the question I was expecting. "What's your quirk, Shiro?"
I stretched my arms above my head, pretending to consider the question. "I can create blades out of quantum energy. And, uh, I can travel through quantum space, which lets me move around unnoticed. It also boosts my physical abilities a bit." I made sure to downplay the abilities a little I didn't want them getting too suspicious. After all, I couldn't just say I was the Herrscher of Reason.
Present Mic looked like he was about to burst. "Quantum energy? Dude, that's insane!"
"Yeah," I said, acting like it was no big deal. "Pretty handy in a pinch."
Naomasa leaned back, clearly satisfied with my answers. "Now for the final question Shiro, have you ever met or heard about anyone present here right now?"
Now, this was tricky. I knew them from the anime, but that didn't count, did it? "I've never met anyone here or talked to anyone before today."
The detective gave a nod to Nezu, signaling I was telling the truth or at least what they believed was the truth. I was almost free.
After some whispered discussion, Nezu turned back to me with a thoughtful expression. "Shiro, would you be interested in joining UA Academy? We offer a safe environment where you can learn more about your quirk and prepare for the world outside."
I blinked, doing my best to look surprised. "Wait, you mean… enroll? Here? At UA?"
Nezu smiled, his eyes gleaming with interest. "Indeed. We could offer you a place in our program, given your unique background. You'd be able to train alongside some of the best students in the country."
I pretended to consider it, tapping my chin thoughtfully. "Hmm... that sounds... kinda cool, actually. I mean, it's not like I have anywhere else to go, right?"
Aizawa grunted. "It's either that or we hand you over to the authorities to investigate your story."
"Right, UA it is then!" I replied quickly, earning a chuckle from Present Mic.
"Good decision, kid," he said, slapping me on the back. "Welcome to UA!"
And just like that, I was in.
The biggest hero school in Japan.
Now things were about to get interesting.
