"Why are you following me, senior brother? Your room is that way," Li Mei said with a pout as she saw Ye Chen sticking to her once again after the dinner.
'Why does senior bother get clingy like this?' she thought helplessly; however, she felt happy inside.
In these past three days, he was focusing on reading the book and teaching her medicine.
Because of this, he didn't tease her too much, which made her feel a sense of loss.
"Xiao Mei, why are you so dissatisfied?" Ye Chen complained as he poked her cheeks before replying.
"I have prepared a gift for you and it's better to give it now rather than tomorrow," he said with a serious look.
Watching him like this, Li Mei was stunned and puzzled; nevertheless, she nodded and led him inside her room.
'What gift senior brother wants to give me now?' she thought with a confused look when Ye Chen sat on her bed and gestured.
"Take a seat in front of me and circulate your spiritual Qi for a few times," he instructed calmly while taking out the red box.
Li Mei was still confused, but she obeyed his words with a nod.
In these past days, he had taught her many things, such as how to breathe out spiritual Qi that contained poison and things like this; hence, she didn't feel surprised when he instructed her.

Watching this, Ye Chen didn't hesitate and took out the supreme ice lotus from the red box.

"It's cold," Li Mei couldn't help but mutter while looking at the beautiful ice blue lotus in his hand.
"Senior brother this is the gift you are talking about?" she inquired with curiosity.
"Yes, this is a supreme Ice Lotus herb which can help you with cultivation, so just eat this without any worry," Ye Chen said as he gave the lotus to her.
However, Li Mei didn't take it and backed out.
