I wasn't sure what to say to the revelation Amelia had just blurted out. It was definitely surprising, but at the same time, everything clicked in my mind. So many things that had been weird about her behavior suddenly made a lot more sense. The blushing, the glancing in my direction rather than looking away, her trying to get closer to me or just staring in my direction for no reason.
