Lilith raised an eyebrow, not moving away immediately. "Since when does the great CEO do dishes?" she teased lightly, though her heart skipped a beat at his sudden closeness.
Sebastian met her gaze, his dark eyes narrowing slightly as if daring her to question him further. "Are CEOs not human?" he replied smoothly, tilting his head.
Lilith's lips tugged into a soft smirk. "I didn't mean that," she said, her tone playful but calm.
Before she could react, his hand brushed against hers as he gently took the plates from her grasp. The warmth of his fingers lingered for a second longer than necessary.
"Go sit down," Sebastian said, his voice softer than usual but still firm. "I'll handle this."
Lilith blinked, slightly taken aback. "You? Doing dishes? This I have to see," she mused, crossing her arms but not making a move to leave.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "Would you rather stay and watch, or trust me to get it done?"
