He took one last look at Itachi, then leapt off into the night, his body plummeting towards the forest below.
The wind buffeted his face as he fell, a sense of dread creeping over him. But he knew it was his only chance to escape from Itachi. In a few seconds that seemed like an eternity, his body crashed into several tree branches before finally landing on the ground with a thud.
