With that, the Hero Killer Stain turned and ran. His fight with Midoriya was evenly matched, and Iida Tenya had already gone to notify the professional heroes. If he didn't leave now, he wouldn't be able to escape.

Stain turned around, holding his blade and staring coldly at Midoriya Izuku.
"It seems we must settle this!"

Midoriya Izuku tightened the steel wire in his hands like guitar strings. He was determined to stop the "Hero Killer" today. If he let him escape, more professional heroes might be killed.

But this was all part of Stain's plan. He knew the black-haired boy's strength was on par with his own, so he used a trick.
With the short blade in his left hand thrown away, Stain swung his right-hand blade at Midoriya Izuku. But "Akaya Kaiun" had already seen through the "Hero Killer's" move. The obvious weapon in his right hand was definitely meant to cut him.
Midoriya shot the steel wire from his left hand to the exhaust pipe on the opposite wall, stabilizing himself with his left foot on the wall. The "King of Storms" on his right foot transformed.
"Flying Wheel: Iron Slash"
The metal blade formed by the wheel blocked the "Hero Killer's" long blade, sparks flying from the clash.
Seeing that the "Hero Killer" had no other weapons, Midoriya Izuku retracted the steel wire with his left hand, pulling himself to the opposite wall while kicking Stain's chest with the "King of Storms" on his left foot.
Midoriya didn't use the lethal form of the "King of Storms" this time. He couldn't use a deadly attack, just enough to disable the "Hero Killer."
In the mid-air clash, all these changes happened in just two seconds. Midoriya Izuku blocked the "Hero Killer's" blade with his right foot while kicking Stain's chest with his left foot.
The "Hero Killer" Stain was in trouble. His only blade was blocked by Midoriya's right foot, and he had no other weapons to attack the black-haired boy.
Stain had used the wall as a springboard, but in mid-air, he had no other support. He couldn't dodge Midoriya's powerful kick.

The short blade flew back, cutting across Midoriya's right arm and splattering blood. The blade returned to Stain's hand.

"When you tied me up, a piece of the steel wire was cut and fell to the ground, wasn't it?"
The situation the Hero Killer described was something Midoriya Izuku hadn't noticed, which became the key to their fight.
After Stain cut the steel wire and attacked Midoriya, the cut piece of wire fell to the ground. When Stain threw the short blade and cut Midoriya Izuku's face, he picked up the knife while circling around him.
Although Midoriya quickly threw the Hero Killer's short blade away, Stain picked up the piece of steel wire from the ground. This was his planned surprise attack.
"Damn it!"
Midoriya Izuku bit his lip. He had been careless. He didn't expect to lose because of his own mistake. He had underestimated his opponent.
"Kid, you're impressive, so I won't kill you. You are someone I recognize as a true hero!"
The Hero Killer Stain picked up his weapon and walked past Midoriya Izuku, heading for another exit in the alley.

Midoriya cursed the Hero Killer and himself. His incompetence let this bastard escape. If more pro heroes were killed later, he would regret it for the rest of his life.
"Goodbye, little reaper!"
Stain was very happy. Midoriya Izuku had brought him great joy. He didn't expect such a kid to exist in this society. He looked forward to meeting him again.
"No need to say goodbye, because you'll be in prison for the rest of your life!!"
The person saying this stood at the alley's exit, blocking the Hero Killer. His red cape fluttered in the wind, and his angry eyes replaced his usual cheerful smile.
He stood in front of the Hero Killer, exuding a pressure that made Stain feel like he was facing All Might.
