"Ugh," Juro groaned as he opened his eyes. All he saw was black so he thought he was in a dark room. But he could hear the chatters of voices and the echoing which told him he was in a very large space surrounded by a lot of people. He shook his head, causing the black cover on his face to shift a little. The cloth was pulled off, revealing that he was indeed in a huge room—a court room.
He tried to move but found that his hands were chained to his back. Looking around the room, he saw a jury box, an audience centre, and a judge seated high on a ledge, looking down at him. Juro was in the suspect section and all eyes were on him.
The human King was present as well as a messenger of the Demon Kingdom. Puzzled and scared, he said, "Uh... Please why am I chained? What am I doing he—"
"Silence!" the human King said. He didn't yell, but the emphasis placed on that single word melted Juro on the spot. In the eyes of the onlookers, he could see anger, shame, fear, contempt. He felt small in the big hall.
"How dare you speak despite your offense?" the King snarled at him. He faced the judge on his left and whispered something to him. The judge nodded and said in a booming voice, "On Juro's offense of instigating and carrying out the assassination of the Demon King Hidora, he is to be incarcerated in the Blacklist Prison until an agreement is reached with the Demon Kingdom representative."
"What?!" Juro said. "I didn't do it! I didn't do anything! No!! He was my uncle!! How could I have killed— No! Leave me!!" Four soldiers came in and dragged him out, ignoring his protest. On the way out, he yelled, "I didn't kill him! He was the only one who didn't discriminate me for my parentage! I couldn't have killed him! Let me go!!!"
