Lucius, furious and defeated, confronted George. His once calm and collected demeanor was replaced by a whirlwind of rage. "How could you let them escape?" He roared, his voice echoing through the cavern. "You were supposed to guard them, to ensure their demise but you could not even deal with such a tiny task!"
George, his face pale and his eyes filled with fear, stammered, "I... I underestimated them, Lucius. They are stronger together than we thought. And to be honest, I really tried."
Lucius scoffed, his disdain palpable. "Weak excuses from a weaker man. You have failed me, George. You have failed us all."
The tension between the two men was palpable. They were both consumed by their own failures, each blaming the other for their predicament.
"But you really should not blame me when it is not entirely my fault." George said, flaring up too.
"And what are you trying to say??" Lucius questioned, gilding his arms against his chest.
