The moonlight filtered through the overhead branches, casting glimmering silver patches along the path ahead. I found it difficult to breathe, my legs protesting with every movement. However, I could not afford to stop, not now. The branches loomed like skeletal fingers in the shadows, seemingly attempting to pull me back to Avalor.
Each shadow felt like his eyes watching me, his presence close, lurking just out of sight. I was lost, and with every step I took, the forest seemed to twist and turn like an intricate labyrinth. But stopping wasn't an option. My body moved out of pure fear, propelling me forward as the darkness closed in.
