HYDRA's Base No. 3.
The ground was wet, and two HYDRA operatives pushed a cart. The alloy box on the cart wobbled occasionally, but neither paid it any mind.
"Did you hear? Spider-Man's dead, killed by Master Bucky."
"Don't talk nonsense. It was the leader who personally dealt with Spider-Man."
"Really? Have you ever seen the leader?"
"No, he's very mysterious. Rumor has it he's someone important in S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Hail HYDRA. Spider-Man should've been dead long ago. He killed a lot of super-soldiers."
"By the way, what are we transporting?"
"Spider-Man's hand."
"What?! How come I didn't know about that?"
"Because you were taking a leak."
"Alright, but I've heard Spider-Man can't die. Is it really okay to have his hand here?"
"Ha, his body's been cut into dozens of pieces. What do you think?"
"I think it's dangerous."
"What?"
"I think it's dangerous."
The man's face stiffened as he pointed at the trembling alloy box. Fear rapidly spread across his face.
"Hey, Ike... Look, doesn't that seem dangerous?"
"I... I think you're right."
Cold sweat began to drip from their foreheads, and their legs started to go weak.
Suddenly, the alloy box shook violently.
BANG!!
BANG BANG BANG!
A series of loud bangs followed as fist-sized dents appeared all over the box, causing the two men to collapse in terror.
"AHHH!! Someone help us!!"
"Mommy, what am I seeing…?!"
Amidst their terrified screams, a fist punched through the metal box, creating a hole. A severed arm shot out like a rocket, narrowly missing their faces, blowing past them and crashing through the wall.
BANG BANG BANG!
In quick succession, the arm broke through the ceiling and launched into the night sky from the city's outskirts.
At the same time, disturbances broke out at HYDRA experimental bases all over the world—from the Siberian plateau to Castle Bard in Italy, the Afghan desert, and the outskirts of London. Even within S.H.I.E.L.D., something strange occurred.
"My God, what is that?!"
"A strange thing just shot out from underground!"
"A leg! A flying leg!"
"Oh my God, is that the legendary 'fast legs'?!"
"Stop it!"
"No, we can't."
"Quick, notify the commander!"
In the neon-lit streets, a red sports car was parked at a stoplight. While waiting for the light to change, Harry once again reviewed the contract he'd prepared.
With Stark Industries investing, Oscorp would undoubtedly rise from the ashes.
His father would be proud of him.
Beep beep~
At that moment, his phone rang. Harry glanced at the caller ID.
"This is Harry Osborn. What's going on?"
"Harry, there's a situation. Something strange has appeared."
"Something strange?"
"Yes, it's—"
Before the voice could finish, a bystander screamed as something strange shot over the car's roof. The gust of wind lifted skirts as it passed, leaving a scene of astonishment in its wake.
"I see it. It's definitely strange."
"It's an arm."
"An arm?"
Harry frowned. "But I saw a giant foot."
"What?"
On the other end, Nick Fury hung up the call, realizing something was wrong.
"Natasha, where did that thing come from?"
"From the underground. There's an experimental base down there."
"What? Why wasn't I informed?"
Nick Fury's face darkened. "Where's Steve? Get him back here immediately."
"We've lost contact with him."
"Motherf—where the hell did he go at a time like this?!"
...
New York, District 13. HYDRA's Base No. 1.
BOOM!!
With continuous crashing sounds, the severed limbs of Spider-Man flew in from all corners of the globe.
Arms, torso, internal organs, legs, even a middle finger—they all barreled into the chaotic base, smashing through walls and obstacles, eventually assembling into a humanoid body.
"Clatter, clatter."
In the puddle of spilled nutrient fluid, red-and-blue nanometal began covering the lean frame, exuding an eerie presence.
But something was off—he had no head!
A floating brain hovered above the neck, creating a disturbing image.
"Damn it! How did this happen so fast?!"
Steve could no longer afford to worry about anything else. He rushed to the corner and pulled down the lever, activating the indestructible alloy cage that slammed down over the headless body.
List watched in crazed excitement, laughing maniacally. "Hahaha! My God, what a miracle! This is a miracle!!"
"Shut up!"
Steve shouted, grabbing List by the collar and snarling, "Where's the rest of his head?!"
"It's already been dissected—"
Before List could finish, the remaining fragments of the head zipped past Steve, completely ignoring the alloy cage as they flew straight to the brain, reassembling it.
"I've come to put the head together!" Charlie's voice suddenly filled the lab.
"What?!"
Steve was utterly stunned.
Spider-Man's body parts had been scattered across the globe. There was no way they should have been able to reassemble here so quickly.
This was practically faster than the speed of light.
Steve had imagined Spider-Man's resurrection would be shocking, but this was beyond anything he could have predicted.
No wonder Natasha and Banner couldn't accurately describe the process of Spider-Man's revival.
Despite all the precautions, they still couldn't prevent Spider-Man from coming back to life.
So…
No matter what was done, Spider-Man's resurrection was inevitable?
The thought flashed through Steve's mind.
How could something so ridiculous be possible?!
And then, something even more absurd happened.
Inside the alloy cage, Charlie slowly opened his eyes.
He glanced coldly at the shocked Steve, then focused on the rewards panel that appeared before him.
[Congratulations! You've won this revival match. Reward: Resurrection Ticket x1 (used)]
[Prize acquired: Titan Physique (Beginner Level)]
[You've activated the Spider Totem and earned extra rewards.]
[Extra Reward 1: Spider Totem Power x1]
[Extra Reward 2: Mental Resistance +50%]
[Remaining reset chances: 6 (carried over to the next revival match)]
Immediately, his revived body began to undergo another transformation.
Specks of purple light appeared from thin air, seeping into Charlie's body through his nanometal armor.
Crack, crack, crack...
His bones audibly shifted as a surge of power coursed through his once-lean frame. His bones and muscle density increased sharply, and his skin began to undergo subtle changes.
Between his eyebrows, a cool red-and-blue energy entered, only to vanish from his senses a moment later.
At that moment, Charlie felt a fundamental change taking place within his body.
Though it was just the beginner level of the Titan Body, the attribute enhancements were significant.
But when combined with his Spider-Man physique, these changes were enough to transform his very being.
"Damn it, his body—"
Steve, realizing something was wrong, immediately activated the high-voltage system of the alloy cage.
ZZZZZ…
Suddenly, blue light burst forth as electric currents, like countless snakes, crawled over Charlie's body.
Under this electric onslaught, which was comparable to the wrath of lightning, the nanometal began to fall away. The destructive power filled the alloy cage, intent on obliterating everything inside.
"Damn you, Spider-Man! Die! I won't give you another chance to come back!!"
Steve laughed maniacally as Charlie trembled, seemingly in agony but still silent.
It was a declaration of power, but also a mask for Steve's growing unease.
But then, Charlie's chest spider-totem began to glow softly. His bare skin turned faintly purple as his muscles swelled several sizes and his body grew taller.
With his magical defenses skyrocketing, the Titan Body completely merged with Spider-Man's physique.
"Heh, the power's too weak."
Amidst the flashing electricity, Charlie's body stopped trembling.
In Steve's disbelieving eyes, Charlie's fist, as large as a sandbag, effortlessly shattered the alloy cage.
The purple beast began to crush everything in its path.
"No!!!"
