Boom!!
In an instant, as thunder rolled across the sky, lightning shot down. Cracks spread across the surface of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, glowing with terrifying electrical energy, and then it shattered violently.
Pop, pop, pop!
At that moment, the shattered fragments of the hammer flew out like a meteor shower, easily smashing through the rings near the spire. Iron pieces rained down, crashing through the surface of the spire, triggering a series of explosions.
Rumble!!
"Ah! Run away!!"
"It's those demons! Their kin just killed a lot of villagers!"
"Oh, God of Titan, please save us!"
"They're going to bomb the temple!"
People fled in panic. Titan guards fell among the ruins, but nearly half of them managed to avoid the hammer's debris.
"They're over there!"
"Stop them, quick."
"These despicable guys!"
The guards piloted their flying vehicles toward Jane Foster, but Clint Barton had already locked onto them, ready and waiting.
Whoosh~
Boom!!
An alloy arrow exploded mid-air, and under the heatwave, one flying vehicle tilted and crashed nearby, causing a chain of explosions.
Rumble...
"Ah~"
"Ambush!"
"Land now!"
Chaos erupted on the scene. Loki, hiding among the crowd, swiftly created hundreds of physical duplicates, which rushed toward the Titan guards en masse.
Zzz~
The Titan guards activated their electrical devices, but the clones were unaffected.
"Your end is here, purple giants."
The "Loki army" brandished daggers and swarmed toward the Titan guards.
Bang!
The next second, one short-haired guard stomped a clone underfoot, confusion all over his face.
"The end, with a weakling like you?"
The clone's face stiffened. "Well, actually, I'm a sorcerer."
Before the short-haired guard could react, more clones swarmed over and overwhelmed him.
Among the crowd, Loki, dressed in a tuxedo, walked around the chaotic battlefield with his hands behind his back, whistling smugly.
On the other side, Jane Foster waved her hand, and the shattered pieces of Mjolnir, lodged in the spire, flew back, smashing through the Titan guards and reforming into Thor's hammer in her hand.
Seeing the Titan guards falling apart, Jane Foster raised Mjolnir high, her face stern, and her shout echoed with thunder across the sky.
"Bring it on, Brazilian babe!"
Boom!
Just as Jane finished shouting, the Titan guards, who had arrived to provide backup, activated lethal weapons, engulfing the scene in fire.
With more Titan guards arriving, the group had no choice but to surrender and was quickly taken away.
At the same time, Charlie Parker and the others took advantage of the chaos to sneak inside the spire.
Through the hole left by the shattered hammer, Tony saw the scene unfolding.
"Her presence is much stronger than Thor's," he couldn't help but praise.
Carter's eyes gleamed with envy. "I like her armor."
Lizard Parker scratched his head. "Does her hammer have auto-navigation?"
"That's called a magical artifact," Old Man Steve explained.
Charlie gazed up at the countless stairs overhead, seeing no sign of an elevator.
"The so-called temple should be at the top," he guessed.
Tony Stark (Infinity Suit) looked puzzled. "Do we really have to go up?"
"Of course."
Charlie smiled. "Just attacking the spire alone isn't enough. Completely destroying the temple guarantees there's no problem."
"Isn't that a bit excessive?" Carter hesitated.
Tony activated his nanotech armor. The nanometal split into small propulsion devices, attaching to Carter and the others' feet.
"This planet is going to be destroyed soon anyway. There's no point in leaving the temple intact," he said.
"What?"
Carter and Lizard Parker, now airborne thanks to the propulsion devices, were confused by his words.
Old Man Steve, who had followed them, explained, "We fought Thanos before. Back then, Titan was already gone, so I suspect the same fate awaits this world's Titan."
"Yeah, this planet is doomed," Tony said, floating above and glancing down at Charlie on the ground.
"Are you swinging webs by yourself? I'm out of nanometal."
"I suspect you're doing this on purpose," Charlie grumbled. He fired a web and attached it to Tony's armor.
"All set."
"Lazy Spider-Man."
Tony laughed, closing his metal helmet and shooting toward the top of the tower, with Charlie following closely behind.
Boom!
Before long, flames erupted into the massive altar at the top of the tower.
The altar was about the size of a football field, shaped like a giant stone mill, covered with intricate and obscure runes.
All around the altar stood large stone monuments engraved with Titan script.
The altar and the monuments had weathered countless years, full of cracks and imperfections, radiating an ancient and mysterious aura.
Above them was an endless sea of stars, the starlight flickering unpredictably. Occasionally, the faint outlines of massive Titans could be seen, looming in the distance.
"So, this is the Titan Temple?"
The group landed on the altar one by one, taking in the massive stone monuments around them, as large as buildings.
Tony raised his hand, scanning the inscriptions. "These are the names of dead Titans. They document their lives and experiences," he explained.
Charlie wasn't interested.
He crouched down, brushing his hand across the surface of the altar, deep in thought.
"What are you thinking?" Carter asked.
Charlie stood up. "I heard that this is the temple where pure-blooded Titans hold their coming-of-age ceremonies."
After Thanos' ceremony, his personality drastically changed. He probably learned Titan's secrets here.
"Look at this!"
Suddenly, Lizard Parker pointed to a blood-red groove in the center of the altar.
He bent down and sniffed. "It's blood. The scent is faint."
Charlie walked over to the groove. "Hey, handsome lizard, try using your blood," he suggested.
Lizard Parker gave him a resentful look. "Imposter, we came here to destroy the temple, not for you to use me."
Charlie shrugged and leaned over to whisper something in Carter's ear.
Instantly, Carter exclaimed, "Oh my God, is that true?"
"Of course," Charlie smiled mysteriously.
Seeing this, Lizard Parker suddenly had a bad feeling.
"What did you tell her?" he asked.
Charlie shook his head and turned to leave. "Nothing you need to worry about. Don't worry, she'll understand you."
"Damn it, fine! I'll do it."
Lizard Parker seemed to guess what Charlie had said. He gritted his teeth and used his claws to cut a wound on his palm.
Green blood dripped into the groove, which immediately emitted a green glow.
Crack, crack~
The altar began to tremble slightly, and the stars above slowly rotated, gradually forming a blurry, strange pattern.
Lizard Parker wasn't interested in it. He stared at Charlie with wide eyes.
"Now, can you tell me?"
Charlie nodded in satisfaction. "Of course."
He leaned in close and whispered, "I told her... my cat can do backflips."
Lizard Parker: "?????"
Damn it, tricked again.
"Little Spider."
At that moment, Old Man Steve pointed to the gradually clearing pattern in the sky, his face filled with an unusual expression.
"It looks like your spider symbol."
Charlie looked up, his face thoughtful.
"It's a broken spider totem."
As soon as he finished speaking, the broken spider totem burst into light, transforming into a red-and-blue beam that enveloped Lizard Parker.
At the same time, Charlie felt something stir inside him.
He looked down, and two complete spider totems slowly appeared on his chest...
