Boom!
Outside the starlit castle, in a mountain village, a motorcycle roared through, kicking up clouds of dust. The five-pointed star shield flew out repeatedly, ruthlessly attacking the native villagers.
Beep beep!
The surveillance devices hovering above the village blared alarms as Steve's face lit up with excitement.
"Friends, they've spotted us. Come on, kill them! We'll definitely get to participate in the exile journey!"
Without waiting for his teammates' responses, Steve continued his merciless slaughter of the villagers, introducing himself to the surveillance devices.
"Welcome to America, the land of the free, the Peace Every Day segment. I'm Soldier Boy, also known as Captain America."
"Let's see, who's in today's disaster zone? Oh, it's your home, lucky ones!"
He drove his motorcycle straight into a wooden house, shouting in excitement,
"Thanos, I love you!!"
Boom!!
The wooden house collapsed instantly, burying the villagers inside.
Boom~~
The next moment, alloy-tipped arrows rained down from the sky, exploding across the village, quickly setting it ablaze.
Clint Barton, with cold, detached eyes, ignored the villagers' cries for help as he continued to fire explosive arrows, each shot taking more lives.
"Hawkeye, do you have any tips for killing?" Natasha asked as she passed by, expertly shooting fleeing villagers with dual pistols, her eyes filled with admiration.
The more they killed, the greater their chances of joining the exile journey.
Clint smirked.
"Cap taught me. Start by killing the old and the children."
"Oh, that's fantastic! Brain matter's flying everywhere!" Natasha complimented him approvingly.
Meanwhile, Bruce Banner let out a furious roar, his transformation into the Hulk complete. He stomped down on a villager, crushing their body, his eyes glowing red as he locked onto his next target.
"Old people and children, let me kill them first!"
Like a bulldozer, Hulk charged through, leaving no intact bodies in his wake.
"Good job, Hulk! Leave no survivors!" Steve shouted as he sped past, his shield slicing through flesh and blood in a gruesome display.
"Natasha, are you a wimp? Your efficiency is too low!" he taunted.
"Cap, I have something to say to you: 'Motherf—' " Natasha retorted.
At the village entrance, Loki stood, completely stunned by the scene before him.
"They're more evil than me. No, I can't lose to them!"
He charged toward the village, only to be intercepted by Hulk.
"Roar!!"
Hulk roared furiously.
"I'm warning you, this is our territory."
Loki wiped the spit from his face and sneered.
"You impostors, I'll make you—"
Before he could finish, Hulk grabbed Loki by the legs and swung him back and forth.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Within seconds, Loki lay beaten in a pit, staring blankly at the blood-stained sky as tears slipped silently from the corners of his eyes.
"Huh, this is a god?" Hulk scoffed, turning away, his voice dripping with mockery.
Before long, the Titan Guard arrived on the scene, but the Avengers showed no intention of fleeing.
Seeing the village littered with bodies, the guards couldn't imagine what kind of ruthless criminals were responsible, so they immediately activated their control devices.
Sizzle...
Electric currents surged through the air, causing Steve and the others to convulse and collapse to the ground.
Loki, foaming at the mouth: "..."
—
The live broadcast abruptly ended, and in the restaurant, everyone glanced fearfully at Charlie and his group.
"They look just like them. Are they from the same race?"
"What terrifying aliens, so cruel."
"Let's get out of here, stay far away from them."
"Don't look at them, keep your head down."
"They'll kill us too."
The atmosphere in the restaurant dropped to freezing, and Charlie frowned.
"They're attacking innocent Titans just to join the exile journey?"
Ordinary Titans weren't particularly powerful, and they had no means of resisting the Avengers' slaughter.
Infinite Tony's face darkened as the glass in his hand shattered, startling everyone around.
"Those bastards!" he growled through gritted teeth.
Old Steve's expression was just as grim.
"My gut was right. They're Avengers, but they're not heroes."
Lizard Parker stared at the barbecue they had just ordered, suddenly losing his appetite.
Carter's body trembled slightly, clearly unsettled.
Noticing something was wrong, Old Steve asked, "What's the matter?"
Carter shook her head, her voice weary.
"Seeing this reminds me of the Steve I knew. I trusted him, let him join the Super Soldier Program, but his ambition was beyond anything I imagined.
"He killed me, took control of all the resources I had, and by now, he's probably the head of Hydra."
Gripped by painful memories, she clenched her fists and closed her eyes, quickly regaining her composure, not showing a hint of weakness.
"So that's why you avoid the other Steves. Now I get it," Old Steve said, finally understanding.
At the mention of Hydra Cap, Charlie's mind stirred.
"Agent Carter, I've got to ask, is Hydra Captain really that strong?"
Carter's expression grew serious as she began to speak slowly.
"Of course, he's very strong. The Super Soldier Serum he received was enhanced. The physical enhancements alone are terrifying—his strength is at least forty tons.
"Later, he gained Hydra's dark powers, and his methods became even more ruthless. He can easily wipe out a thousand heavily armed soldiers by himself, and he has powers I don't even know about. He's a true demon."
"By the way, why are you asking?" she asked, looking at Charlie suspiciously.
Charlie glanced at the ceiling.
"I'm just asking."
"So you were killed by him. I get it now," Old Steve said, bluntly exposing the truth.
Charlie's face darkened.
"Old man, you don't sound like someone who died of old age."
"I didn't need the reminder." Old Steve hung his head in embarrassment.
Seeing Charlie's admission, Carter looked surprised.
"So, we're from the same world?"
She had long suspected that the participants came from different parallel universes.
Not just her—every contestant could think of this possibility immediately and quickly adapt to the rhythm of the resurrection match.
After all, their understanding of the world and their ability to process and accept information far exceeded that of ordinary people.
Charlie didn't deny Carter's question but wasn't entirely sure either.
Still, if they won the resurrection match, and Carter was revived alongside him, then everything would become clear.
Soon, the news broadcast resumed with another update.
"Breaking news: All 393 residents of the village of Orpheus have been confirmed dead. Five suspects have been sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole."
"That was fast. The court on Titan works efficiently—arrests made and sentences passed right away," Charlie said with a nod.
Infinite Tony suppressed his rage and said,
"If even a crime like that won't get them exiled, we're in bigger trouble."
"Yeah,"
Carter sighed.
"We can't do what they did, and I can't imagine what kind of atrocities Thanos committed to be exiled from Titan."
Charlie rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"If we can't commit any crimes ourselves, then we just need to make them think we did."
Lizard Parker, who had been debating whether or not to eat the barbecue, suddenly looked up with a twisted grin.
"I've got experience with that."
