A few days passed with no sign of attack on Vance from Benjamin but Veronica and Liam could not be concerned about it for much longer since the day had come to visit with her mother.
Veronica didn't know how many strings Liam had pulled to make it happen but Evelyn invited her over the day Henry and Beth would be attending the party Liam got them invited to. Liam would be at the party to keep an eye on the pair and hold them back longer if needed.
Veronica had Jerome waiting in her car to be used later as a distraction when she needed her mother away to look for the phone.
"You do not need to go if you are afraid of being alone with your mother," Jerome informed Veronica since she hadn't gotten out of the car even though they had arrived more than five minutes ago.
