Veronica exited the car leaving Liam behind to get the picnic he had prepared for them. She could spend hours looking at the water and sitting on the sand. "What a shame I was afraid of this," she said.
The beach wasn't crowded which was good and with the few people present, Veronica would be surprised if she recognised Liam's face or her own after she was plastered in the news a while ago.
After hearing the car door closed, Veronica turned to look at Liam.
"Do you need help?" She asked, smiling innocently since she waited late to ask.
"You say that after I already have everything out of the car. I can lift it by myself. Where do you want to sit before you get in the water?" Liam questioned, taking a good look around the beach.
"Over there," Veronica pointed to trees providing shade.
She led the way over to where they would sit, walking fast so that no one could take their spot.
