Adeline kept a watchful eye on Veronica and Liam waiting for the perfect chance to approach Liam.
Nathan kept himself busy with food and wine since he didn't share the same interests as Adeline. "Am I boring you? Since we've sat down, you've been staring at those two which is odd considering you don't like Veronica. Should I get up so I don't block your view?"
"No. I'm enjoying my time with you," Adeline answered, looking away from the couple to make Nathan happy. "Aren't you having too much wine?"
"I'm not driving tonight. I left home to enjoy myself and unlike you, that is what I am doing. The food here is good. Why don't we come here more often?" Nathan wondered.
Adeline could take a good guess that it wasn't their style. Since when did Liam enjoy coming to places like this? The location was good but after looking around, Adeline didn't see anyone she knew which wasn't a good sign.
