"When does the staring stop?" Veronica asked, trying her best to avoid locking eyes with the people staring at them.
"When we get into our car and go home. Just look at me. Aren't I better to look at than them?" Liam questioned.
Veronica laughed. He was better to look at but she wouldn't tell him now to fuel his ego. Something told her that she wouldn't hear the end of this tonight.
"What did you talk about with your mother? Did she ask for money or the building?" Liam asked, curious about what the two spoke about.
"It was about money and something about how I was trying to fix my relationship with her. I don't have any emails to my mother so it had to be messages on my phone. Isn't there a way for me to get all the information from my old phone and put it on the new one?" Veronica asked.
That would solve all of her problems.
