After a few days of being out of sight, Veronica and Liam ended their vacation to return home to get back to their daily lives. They were welcomed by a few reporters who wanted to hear Liam's thoughts about Benjamin to see if he was one of the few relatives on Benjamin's side or to get his thoughts about the investigation to find Vance Smith.
Liam ignored their questions and drove the car right in to get Veronica inside so she wouldn't be bothered by them.
"So much for a quiet return. If only we could have stayed away for another day," said Veronica.
She started to regret being the one who said they should return so Liam could get back to his work and she could go to the gallery.
"I will take out the bags. Edna should be inside already."
