Benjamin slammed his hand repeatedly on the steering wheel of his car after Adeline didn't answer him for the second day in a row. She read some of the messages he sent but would not send him a response or answer his calls.
Adeline should know by now that he wasn't reaching out to her to bring her back to being his little helper. Benjamin was the one person listening to what Adeline wanted to do which was to be in control. All Adeline needed to do was return and help him get rid of their father.
After some thought about Liam's offer, Benjamin decided to go to Adeline instead. She had a better chance of helping him take down their father. Benjamin didn't trust Adeline more than Liam since she was more likely to stab him in the back at any given time but he just needed to be ready to stab her in the back first.
"Where the hell is she?" Benjamin wondered.
Everyone he asked said the same thing that they didn't know where Adeline or Nathan went.
