"My father? He just answered you when I was the one trying to reach out to him. Why you?" Veronica questioned, stepping away from Liam. "I have been trying for so long now and all I got was a warning but he goes to you. Are you going to meet with him? You already did," she realised.
Veronica turned away from Liam. She wasn't upset with him since he hadn't done anything wrong but it was upsetting to know that he had it easy for her father to reach out to him. "I'm not angry with you. I just can't understand why he wouldn't answer me."
Veronica took a moment to calm down before she misdirected her anger to Liam. "What did he say? Did he mention anything about meeting with me?"
"He's not going to show his face to you but he has been looking over you. We were right that he's someone dangerous. You're better off not getting too close to him. Whatever he does, it could greatly affect you if there's anyone after him. I know it's not what you want to hear," said Liam.
