"Did you come to find out about your mother? I'm afraid I don't know where she ran off to. She's abandoned us at a time like this. Have you heard from her?" Vance asked, curious about what Liam knew about his mother.
"I didn't care to ask. If you appreciated her a little more then she wouldn't have left. No one in this family understands why you put everything on Benjamin when he's an idiot. Do you enjoy failing?" Liam wondered, failing to understand Vance's reasons. "You're not an idiot stuck in the past that a woman couldn't do it, right?"
"I'm a traditional man which is something you could benefit from. There are just some things that make sense. If you would visit when we talk about our plans then you would know why I haven't pushed your mother instead of my son. What I am looking for is a man like you," said Vance.
