Jerome was afraid. "It's never a good day when we have to visit your grandfather. He always tries to pull you in and tries to pull me in with you. If your uncle is close by then he's going to be in trouble. He didn't do anything you informed me of."
"I didn't have high expectations of my uncle going against my grandfather. He's just like my mother. They are both afraid of him and want to please him. He won't mention coming to me because then he would have to expose wanting to turn on his father," Liam said, knowing Benjamin wouldn't be so stupid.
"You seem to think your uncle has more sense than he does. We're speaking about a man who gets involved in activities that could ruin his run. Just look at Beth and how her life changed overnight," said Jerome.
