Liam called Clark to find them a room with a shower and to get Veronica a change of clothes. Rather than make the trip back home, they would stay until Veronica felt better.
"Here. I'm sorry about what happened. I should have gotten her out of there when I saw her," Clark said, seeing it as his fault since it was his people who invited Beth. "Is Veronica alright?"
"She is cold but other than that she's fine. If anything changes I will tell you but as of right now, don't worry. It's not your fault either. Where is Beth right now?" Liam asked.
"Well, she ran the first chance she got. There's only one place she could go which is to her uncle. Even if the police go to her, she'll just get a slap on the wrist for pushing Veronica. I'm sure her uncle would fight it and drag it out. Why don't you stop playing the nice guy?" Clark questioned, leaning on the door frame.
