Liam entered the home and searched for Veronica. He came across Edna first who wasn't as welcoming as she usually was since she still felt guilty about what she did with his mother. Veronica wasn't thinking of firing Edna so all that was left was for Edna to get over her guilt so everything could go back to normal.
Liam made his way upstairs to where Veronica had to be. She might be glued to her phone for the next couple of days since there was a lot for her to see.
Just like he thought, Liam found Veronica sitting on their bed with her phone in her hand. She was so busy swiping through it that she didn't notice he arrived.
Liam contemplated standing at the door to see how long it would take for her to realise he had come home. The view of her lounging on their bed was worth standing around for.
A few minutes passed by without his presence notice.
"Find anything good?" Liam asked to get her attention.
