The days after Daphne's discovery of the Obsidian Chalice's mention were consumed by frantic research and preparations. If Voldemort truly possessed such an artifact, the alliance needed to act quickly. Kai, Daphne, and Hermione buried themselves in the Restricted Section of the library, searching for any information that might give them an edge.

A Grim Revelation
Late one evening, Hermione slammed a heavy book onto the table, her hair wild and her eyes sharp with determination.
"I found it," she announced, pointing to a page with trembling fingers.
The text described the Obsidian Chalice in grim detail:
"...a vessel forged in the depths of the Abyssal Forge, designed to channel the life essence of those it consumes into pure, unbridled magical energy. The wielder gains unparalleled strength but at the cost of countless lives. It is said the Chalice is bound to its master until either the wielder or the artifact itself is destroyed."
Daphne's expression darkened as she read over Hermione's shoulder. "If Voldemort has this... it explains why his spells during the battle felt so much stronger than before. He's feeding off something—or someone."
Kai leaned back in his chair, the weight of the revelation settling on him like a lead cloak. His system pinged softly, offering a grim new quest:
[System Quest: Destroy the Obsidian Chalice. Rewards: Legendary Spell Scroll, Title Upgrade, Unique Weapon.]
"The Chalice has to go," Kai said, his voice steady. "But how do we find it? If Voldemort has it, he's not going to leave it unguarded."
Hermione flipped to another page. "The Chalice can only be destroyed with a combination of light magic and a specific ritual—one that requires the blood of the artifact's master."
Harry frowned. "So, we need to make Voldemort bleed? Sounds easy enough," he said sarcastically.
Kai sighed. "Nothing about this is going to be easy."

A Dangerous Plan
The group convened in the Room of Requirement, the core members of the alliance gathered around a magical projection of Voldemort's fortress, created with intelligence provided by Ragnok and his goblins.
"The Chalice is here," Ragnok said, pointing to a heavily warded room deep within the fortress. "It's surrounded by layers of enchantments, traps, and guards. Getting to it will require more than brute force."
Daphne crossed her arms. "We'll need a diversion. Something to draw Voldemort and his forces away from the Chalice long enough for a strike team to get in."
Theo grinned. "I volunteer for the chaos-making."
"And the strike team?" Harry asked.
Kai met his gaze. "Us. You, me, Daphne, and Hermione. If this is going to work, we need our best fighters and strategists on the front line."
Harry nodded grimly. "Then let's do it."

Into the Fortress
The night of the assault arrived quickly. The alliance split into two teams: one to create the diversion and another to infiltrate the fortress. Kai's system had provided additional enhancements to his party's gear, giving them a fighting chance against the dark magic protecting Voldemort's lair.
Dressed in enchanted cloaks that concealed their presence, Kai, Harry, Daphne, and Hermione moved silently through the forest surrounding the fortress. Theo's team had already begun their diversion, explosions and magical flares lighting up the sky in the distance.
"Stick to the plan," Kai whispered as they reached the fortress walls. "We get in, destroy the Chalice, and get out. No heroics."
Hermione muttered an incantation, creating a temporary gap in the wards. "Go. It won't stay open for long."

The Heart of Darkness
Inside the fortress, the air was thick with dark magic. Shadows seemed to move of their own accord, whispering ominous warnings. The group navigated the twisting corridors, avoiding patrols and magical traps.
At last, they reached the Chalice's chamber. The room was dominated by the artifact, a sinister black vessel that pulsed with an eerie, blood-red light. Its presence was overwhelming, radiating malice and hunger.
"Now what?" Harry asked, his wand at the ready.
Kai stepped forward, activating [System Insight] to analyze the artifact.
[Obsidian Chalice: An Abyssal artifact. Vulnerable to Light Magic Ritual. Caution: Disrupting the artifact will alert its master.]
"We don't have much time," Kai said. "Hermione, start the ritual. Harry, Daphne, and I will guard the room."
Hermione nodded, pulling out the necessary materials and beginning the incantation.
---
The Price of Power
As the ritual progressed, the Chalice began to writhe and pulse, its dark energy lashing out violently. Shadows coalesced into monstrous forms, attacking the group with ferocious intensity.
"Expecto Patronum!" Daphne shouted, her silver wolf Patronus tearing through the shadows.
Harry joined in, his stag illuminating the room with blinding light.
Kai activated [Celestial Tempest], unleashing a wave of radiant energy that obliterated the remaining shadow creatures.
Suddenly, the temperature in the room dropped sharply, and Voldemort himself appeared in the doorway, his red eyes burning with fury.
"You dare touch my Chalice?" he hissed, his voice cold and venomous.
Kai stepped forward, his wand glowing with power. "It's over, Tom. You're not the only one who knows how to play the game."
Voldemort sneered, raising his wand. "Let us see if you truly believe that."

The Final Confrontation
The duel that followed was nothing short of cataclysmic. Spells flew back and forth, the air crackling with energy. Voldemort's attacks were relentless, but Kai's system-enhanced reflexes and spells kept him in the fight.
Harry joined in, their combined efforts forcing Voldemort to split his focus.
"Now, Hermione!" Kai shouted as he deflected a Killing Curse.
Hermione completed the ritual, and the Chalice began to crack, its dark energy spiraling out of control.
"No!" Voldemort roared, his rage palpable. He surged forward, but Daphne intercepted him, her wand emitting a beam of blinding light that forced him back.
The Chalice shattered with a deafening explosion, releasing a wave of light that obliterated the remaining shadows. Voldemort staggered, his connection to the artifact severed.
"You'll pay for this," he snarled, disappearing in a swirl of black smoke.

A Hollow Victory
As the dust settled, the group stared at the remnants of the Chalice.
"It's done," Kai said, his voice heavy with exhaustion.
"But at what cost?" Hermione asked softly.
Kai didn't answer. The battle was won, but the war was far from over.
