Mary Geoise, the Holy Land.
Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Admiral Kizaru were in a large conference room at the World Government headquarters, preparing to discuss strategies for dealing with Whitebeard.
Despite the Marine's apparent advantage, this was a war with the potential to draw in another Emperor, Red-Haired Shanks, who had past ties with Whitebeard.
Even the Five Elders couldn't afford to underestimate the situation. However, before the meeting could begin, news arrived from the Sabaody Archipelago.
"That damned brat again, causing trouble left and right! The Enies Lobby incident, and now this... That entire family is nothing but trouble!" Sengoku grumbled, massaging his temples with a weary sigh. He was truly exhausted.
Back when he worked alongside Garp, he'd constantly been cleaning up his messes. Now, Garp's son, Dragon, was leading the Revolutionary Army, adding another layer of headaches.
"Reports indicate that Straw Hat Luffy, Eustass Kid and his crew, Trafalgar Law and his crew, along with thirteen other wanted criminals, were involved. Five of them have bounties exceeding 100 million berries. The primary offender, of course, is Straw Hat Luffy, for assaulting a World Noble."
"Three Celestial Dragons were taken hostage. This is an unprecedented and egregious incident."
Sengoku took a deep breath to compose himself. "Have they made any demands?"
"Not yet."
A tense silence filled the room. Kizaru, lounging in a nearby chair, took a sip of tea before drawling, "Regardless of the circumstances, we can't ignore an attack on a World Noble, can we, Sengoku?"
The situation involved Luffy, which meant it involved Garp. With the Celestial Dragons also involved, it was a delicate matter. Kizaru saw an opportunity to do Garp a favor.
He had done the same in the original timeline. He could have easily eliminated Luffy and his crew multiple times before Rayleigh arrived, but he had deliberately stalled, allowing the Dark King to intervene.
"Kizaru..."
Sengoku looked at Kizaru and shook his head in resignation. Kizaru, despite his laid-back demeanor, was the most suitable choice for this situation. A nonchalant approach was precisely what was needed.
"Very well."
"This is a minor issue. The matter with Whitebeard takes precedence." After Kizaru departed, Sengoku took a deep breath and set the Sabaody incident aside for the moment.
The situation with Ace was urgent. This hot potato couldn't be held for long. A decision had to be made: execute or release. Imprisonment was not an option; Whitebeard would undoubtedly launch a rescue attempt.
After conferring with Aokiji, Akainu, and the other admirals, Sengoku reported the matter to the Five Elders. The final decision was made: to confront Whitebeard and publicly execute Ace.
This wasn't a conspiracy; it was a blatant challenge. Whitebeard, with his unwavering sense of loyalty, would be forced to respond. He wouldn't abandon his son.
...
Sabaody Archipelago.
The aftermath of Luffy's attack on the Celestial Dragon had plunged the entire archipelago into chaos.
"Look! Admiral Kizaru is here!"
Someone shouted, pointing towards the sea. A figure in a Marine coat was approaching, riding a cannonball through the air with an almost ostentatious flair. Upon reaching the island, he landed gracefully, arms outstretched.
It was Admiral Kizaru.
The assembled Marines snapped to attention and saluted. "I hear there are ten Supernovas with bounties over 100 million berries. Have their locations been confirmed?"
Kizaru strolled forward, his yellow-sleeved justice coat billowing in the wind. He addressed the saluting Marines with a languid air.
"Yes, sir! There are ten confirmed individuals. We're currently pinpointing their locations." A Marine Rear Admiral responded respectfully. The Marine was at the peak of its power, yet ten pirates with bounties exceeding 100 million berries had infiltrated the archipelago. Luffy and his crew were one thing, but the others were proving to be quite formidable.
Indeed, one Supernova was missing: X Drake. He had originally become a pirate to gain notoriety and eventually join a Yonko's crew. Now, with two Emperors out of the picture thanks to Ian, and Shanks too shrewd to be caught off guard...
Kizaru pulled out a Den Den Mushi and toyed with it. "There's no rush. They won't escape. Tell me the location of the nearest one."
"Yes, sir!" The Rear Admiral promptly relayed the information received from a subordinate. "Urouge, the Mad Monk, with a bounty of 108 million berries, is currently engaging a Pacifista just ahead."
Kizaru nodded, his form shimmering before vanishing in a flash of light. He reappeared further down the street, walking casually towards the heart of the chaos. The bustling street fell silent. Civilians and pirates alike stared in fear at the approaching Admiral.
"Th-That's... Admiral Kizaru!"
"Run!"
In an instant, the street cleared. It was impossible to distinguish between civilians and pirates in the fleeing crowd. Some, however, remained hidden, their hands trembling as they aimed their weapons at Kizaru.
"That's Admiral Kizaru! If I can take him down, I'll be famous!"
"Are you crazy?!" His companion hissed. "That's one of the Marine's top fighters!"
He tried to intervene, but it was too late. His companion fired a shot at Kizaru. The bullet whizzed through the air, but to everyone's astonishment, Kizaru didn't even flinch. The bullet harmlessly struck the ground.
"Wh-What the...?"
The shooter stared in disbelief. His companion turned and fled without looking back, shouting, "You idiot! You can't just take down a top Marine like that!"
Kizaru glanced at the fleeing figures, and in a flash, they were both embedded in a nearby wall, their expressions of terror frozen on their faces.
"Pirates these days are getting bolder, aren't they?" Kizaru mused, his gaze flicking towards a nearby rooftop. Scratchmen Apoo and his crew were observing him from the shadows.
"Is that really Admiral Kizaru? The Glint-Glint Fruit... Scary" Apoo murmured, his face a mask of morbid curiosity. Kizaru's abilities were no secret in the world of piracy. Anyone who cared to inquire could learn about his powers.
"He's too strong! We can't see him move!" One of Apoo's crewmates stammered, his face pale with fear. "Let's get out of here, Captain Apoo! We're in danger!"
Apoo chuckled darkly. "Fool. Where's the fun in sneaking away? It makes us look weak."
He had traversed half of the Grand Line. Running away from a single Marine Admiral, even one as powerful as Kizaru, was unacceptable. He needed to make a statement, to leave his mark, before making a grand escape. A glint of mischief flickered in Apoo's eyes as he watched Kizaru.
Kizaru was well aware of Apoo's presence but chose to ignore him for the moment. He pondered, "These Supernovas who've conquered the first half of the Grand Line... They're more reckless than some of the pirates with higher bounties in the New World..."
Kizaru continued his stroll, turning a corner and coming face to face with another group: the Hawkins Pirates, led by Basil Hawkins, with a bounty of 249 million berries.
"Kizaru!!"
The Hawkins Pirates paled at the sight of the approaching Admiral.
"Captain Hawkins! You should go!" One of them shouted.
"Admiral Kizaru..."
Hawkins met Kizaru's gaze, a flicker of resignation in his eyes. "There's no need to panic. Fate has decreed that we cannot escape. This beating is inevitable. We must simply endure."
"Fate has decreed, you say?" Kizaru chuckled. "Well, then, have you ever heard that speed is power? Have you ever seen a light-speed kick?"
Before Hawkins could react, Kizaru vanished, reappearing beside him in an instant.
BOOM!
The ground and surrounding buildings exploded into rubble. Kizaru, with almost leisurely nonchalance, added, "You should have more respect for your elders. I hate to exert myself so much."
The Hawkins Pirates stared in horror as their captain was buried beneath the debris.
"Impressive." Apoo, watching from his hidden vantage point, felt a shiver of apprehension. Then, he gasped in surprise.
Hawkins emerged from the rubble, transformed into a grotesque straw giant, his limbs flailing wildly.
"Oh? Interesting ability. He's unharmed?" Apoo murmured, his interest piqued. "This is getting more and more interesting... Admiral Kizaru, indeed."
Hawkins, his eyes fixed on Kizaru, endured several laser blasts, small straw figures emerging from his body to absorb the damage.
"As expected, he's formidable... I only prepared ten. I'm feeling a bit anxious now."
Just as Hawkins finished speaking, a figure crashed through a nearby wall, landing heavily in the midst of the confrontation. It was Urouge, the Mad Monk, his massive frame adorned with a pair of white wings.
Urouge's eyes widened as he spotted Kizaru. "Kizaru!"
At that moment, a Pacifista, modeled after the former Warlord Bartholomew Kuma, lumbered into the scene. Urouge, grimacing, struggled to his feet.
"Just my luck. An Admiral in front, a Warlord behind..." Not only Urouge, but Hawkins and Apoo as well, stared in apprehension at the Kuma cyborg. The air crackled with tension.
Kizaru finally spoke, his voice calm but carrying an undercurrent of menace. "Urouge the Mad Monk, Basil Hawkins, and hiding over there... Scratchmen Apoo. All gathered together. Saves me the trouble of searching. These rookies are quite troublesome, aren't they?"
His words, though spoken softly, sent shivers down their spines. Apoo, startled, emerged from his hiding place, his face pale. "H-How did you find me?" he stammered.
Kizaru glanced at him but didn't answer.
Apoo jumped down from the rooftop, joining Hawkins and Urouge. Standing together, they seemed to gain a measure of confidence.
Urouge glared at Kizaru, a renewed fighting spirit ignited by the presence of his fellow Supernovas. "We won't know if we can win unless we try!"
Hawkins stood silently, his eyes filled with determination. The three pirates' combined momentum seemed to merge, creating a palpable tension in the air. Apoo, his eyes wary, assumed a fighting stance. "Let's see what you're made of, Admiral Kizaru!"
Others, drawn by the commotion, began to gather, watching the unfolding scene with bated breath.
"Urouge, Apoo, Hawkins... and Bartholomew Kuma! What kind of battle will this be?" someone whispered in awe.
"Captain Urouge!"
"Captain Apoo!"
The members of the Fallen Monk Pirates and the On Air Pirates arrived, their faces etched with worry.
Even the most conceited and confident pirates felt a sense of unease.
After all, this was Admiral Kizaru, a force of nature.
"You're all quite eager, aren't you?"
Kizaru addressed the three Supernovas, raising a hand casually. As his words faded, he pointed at the trio, and a blinding golden light erupted. Urouge roared, raising his weapon to block the attack.
But the moment his weapon made contact with the light, it began to disintegrate, the cracks spreading rapidly down its length.
Crack! Crack!
Urouge barely had time to register surprise before the light pierced his shoulder, sending him crashing to the ground.
Apoo, horrified, unleashed his full power, sending a wave of sonic vibrations at Kizaru. But the Admiral effortlessly sidestepped the attack, delivering a swift kick that sent Apoo flying into a nearby building.
A single strike, and Apoo was down.
"You understand nothing of speed."
Kizaru paused, then pulled out a Den Den Mushi and contacted the Marines on the island. "Moshi Moshi, This is Kizaru. Report the locations of the remaining Supernova pirates, excluding Hawkins, Urouge, and Apoo..."
The onlookers stared in stunned silence. They had expected a prolonged battle, Instead, it was over in an instant.
Those who had never witnessed Kizaru's power felt a chill run down their spines. Three Supernovas defeated in the blink of an eye.
"Three Supernovas... defeated instantly... This is the power of Admiral Kizaru, one of the Marine's strongest... terrifying."
"Really... scary!"
