They descended into the trench, the bubble around them vibrating with light when it came into contact with an obstacle. When the light vibrated through the bubble Rachel sent magic into it and they phased through the obstacle.
As they descended they sensed movement all around them like an army was moving in towards them from all sides. They all tensed inside.
The bubble radiated a brilliant light and began moving through the trench faster and faster. It no longer took a straight course but it stayed locked on its initial target.
They came to a halt when they reached the level that the item was on and Rachel set up a cylindrical defensive barrier around their bubble. Shortly after a long aggressive snake like fish darted out of the shadows near them and struck the barrier. It let out an ear splitting screech and fell back.
