Rachel walked to the open panel next to Allons. She took Allons' hand and he pulled her hand to his lips before she could start. She looked at him for a brief moment and then turned to the anchor strands. She raised her hand up, her palm facing forwards. She pulled magic from both Allons and Shram. The magic streamed from the both and into Rachel's soul well.
No she did not need to do this, and her other soulmates were also in range, but when she used her magic in tandem with a soulmate it changed the quality of the magic. The magic became less detectable because it integrated with the realm even more. It essentially quieted the magic and caused it to be unheard or unseen by others.

Rainbow magic quickly flowed out and over the strand. It coated the strand and formed a dark black glossy outer layer that shined brightly in the sunlight.
