Ashanti was the first to awaken. It was still a slow process because she was disoriented. First she remained still for a long time, seemingly adjusting herself to the moment. She then looked within herself to make sure she was in good condition then she remembered that she was no longer on Lanical and Marce was no longer beside her. Finally she remembered that she was in a spring because Trannisa wanted her and the other Antrunie to improve.
All this and her consciousness still had not risen to the surface.
When she opened her eyes she saw that the once warm pink waters were now cold and no longer had a color or glow to them.
She stirred slightly and the water rippled dramatically, rushing out to the shore and spilling over into lush grasses and pushing over smooth pebbles.
